So if you’re not quick enough to notice the title, my name is Ellie. I am a crazy and uncontrollable high school freshman living in the Philippines. I’m turning thirteen already, but I feel like I am still a nine year old or a mature lady at times. It’s difficult having a hidden alter-ego.
I am weird, I admit. This is one thing that I will definitely not leave out in typing a profile. My friends are people who are okay with me suddenly laughing, or suddenly cracking a lame joke. (They laugh too.) I get crazy and gaga at times, and I’m pretty proud.
Usually I’m neurotic, morbid, and suicidal. I get sad at times. Oh, and I am short-tempered, mind you. If you piss me off, then it’s Doomsville for you.
I am once a mean, mad bookworm. The hobby was “switched off” for a while, but now I’m coming back to it. If you look around the house, you’ll find lots of scattered books of mine in corners and the ‘unders’ (under the table, the sink…). My favorite author ever is Roald Dahl and I would like to visit the RD museum one day.
I adore music. I love listening to it and it keeps me going. If there’s this dull assignment, I just turn on the CD player, and I’m off to Tralalaland! I mostly like alternative rock–with a bit of pop rock, and some dance tunes along with it. Some bands and artists that would go in my ‘thumbs-up’ list are: The Beatles, The Eraserheads, Simple Plan, Itchyworms, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morisette, Pink, Nelly Furtado, Parokya ni Edgar, Rivermaya, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day and the Black Eyed Peas.
I rarely watch movies at the theatres. Unless it’s a really awaited movie. I just wait for CD’s and TV specials to come out. But still, I love movies. My taste is in comedy, mystery, adventure and chickflick movies. Some of my favorite flicks are: School of Rock, Dead Poets Society, Finding Neverland and Disney movies.
